On the rim: deep shiny dark eggplant with touches of ruby and garnet on the rim
On the nose: beautiful nose of tobacco, tulips, elderberry, rosemary, tarragon, pine needles, gingerbread and tomato stems
On the palate: fresh but round entrance evolving on a velvety but tannic mid-palate with black cherry, blackberry and red currant lingering on granular tannins, clove and cocoa powder with grenadine and coffee
