"Deep and dense in blue and red fruit, this full-bodied wine is robustly concentrated and rich by design, thick in added notes of dark chocolate and cigar box. Sage, dried herb and black pepper."

Appearance is garnet red with purple hues.  Rutherford is one of the most desirable mid-valley appellations.  Elegant fruit and velvet structure, long finish.  The fruit has barrel notes of baking spice and vanilla.  The palate is supple and has long tannin structure.  The 2017 growing season was an early vintage in the Napa Valley due to Labor Day heat.  We had good balance on the fruiting wire.
